All contrived phenomena

Are like a dream, an illusion, a bubble, a shadow,
Like dew or a flash of lightning;
Thus should be regarded as such.


The above gāthā from the Diamond Sutra is my motto of practising anthropology (and life!). Anthropologists are just one of the blind men touching a part of the elephant, thus should be prepared to perceive the world in a radically different way!
